Costs and Operations of the activities and daytrips are camp locations specific, may change, alter, stop without notice.

Day 01: Reporting at the Base Camp Outdoor Adventure's base camp Devlikhan / You may also choose to Report at Corbett Base camp and from there take transport to the Devlikhan Camp- Acclimatization, Orientation & Training .Overnight stay in the tent.

Day 02: Trek from Base Camp to Syahi Devi Temple Via Sitlakhet (2+4+4+2 Kms/ 7-9 Hours/2975 Meters) - It is a beautiful walk through mixed forests of the deodar, oak and rhododendron. Syahi Devi is situated on a ridge with a beautiful view of whole Haldwani valley on one side and Hamalyan mountain range on the other side. First 2km is a normal walk on mettled road with gradual ascent up to Sitlakhet small town, there after steep ascent up to Syahi Devi temple. The last 1 km is again a steep ascent through the forest. Syahi Devi is a flat meadow on top of a ridge with lots of Apple, Peach and kiwi plantations. From here one can witness panoramic view of Himalayan range on one side and Haldwani Valley on the other is a memorable sight., after few hours Rest, back to Camp site, while coming back if some want can also use cab halfway. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 03: Trek from Base Camp to Tawani (06 Kms/4-5 Hours/3000 Meters) - Trek to Tanwani through pine forest – an old water mill , where people used to gring wheat to make flour. back to Camp, You may also come by cab while coming back, if find it hard walking hill. Night stay in the camp.

Day 04: Trek from Base Camp to Dwarsoon (06 Kms+ 5Km Return /8-10 Hours/3000 Meters) - Trek to Drarsoon through mixed pine forest – an old villager route used earlier times when roads were not made. back to Camp, You may also come by cab while coming back, if find it hard. Night stay in the camp.

Day 05: Check out after the Breakfast at 8:30 AM.

Use of Narcotics, Alcohol & Smoking is strictly prohibited during the expedition. Violation of the same may result in check out from the camp or fine of Rs.2,000/- or both.

Distance by Road:

Ranikhet and Almora are the nearest Bus Station to Sitlakhet is well connected to Delhi and other major cities. Take an overnight/early morning bus from Delhi and you will reach Ranikhet or Almora in 08 ‐09 hours (approx 350 KMS). Bus Tickets to Ranikhet or Almora can be booked online at or Online bus booking website of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) - If you like to use Volvo buses leave Delhi to Ramnagar or Haldwani late in the Night around 10:30 pm from ISBT Ananad Vihar. Volvo buses charges between Rs.750 to 950 per seat from Delhi to Ramnagar/ Haldwani and vice versa. Ramnagar/ Haldwani to Delhi: Like the onward journey, buses leave from Ranikhet or Almora to Delhi on regular intervals. There are lots of connected bus and train via Moradabad.

Nearest Railway Station:

Nearest Railway station is Ramnagar and Haldwani (both appx 120 kms distant from Camp), Moradabad (210 kms distant from Camp) and Haldwani (120 kms distant from Camp). Tip: Regular Buses/ Jeeps are available from Ranikhet/ Almora and Buses up to Ranikhet/ Almora from Haldwani or Ramnagar are available.

Nearest Airport:

Nearest Airport is Phool Baug (Pant Nagar-Rudrapur) is appx 170 Kms. away from Base Camp, is the nearest airport. Taxi services are available from Phool Baug (Pant Nagar-Rudrapur) to Haldwani and then either by Cab or by Bus- Camp, which costs about Rs.2,000 to Rs.2,500. Phool Baug (Pant Nagar-Rudrapur) is well connected to Delhi by air. The airliners that take you to this Airport are Indian Airlines operating flights from Delhi.

How to Join

Our participation process is very simple. You may apply online to reserve your seat or call us at 7351 320 300 between 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM on any working day. Alternatively, you may email us at for booking and assistance. You may book offline through NEFT or Deposit Your Payments in the Bank. You need to email NEFT/Transfer/Proof of deposit details at along with Expedition Name, Date of Reporting, Participant’s- Name, Mobile, Email, DOB, City and Gender in order to send you the confirmation within 72 working hours from our side.

Things to Carry(depends on weather and location/Program)

Summer: T-shirts, Trekking Pants, Windproof jacket preferably with a hood, Comfortable Trekking/Hiking shoes (shoes with a thick sole are recommended), Lightweight floaters/sandals/slippers, Raincoat / Poncho, Small light weight towel, Water bottle, Sunscreen Lotion, Cap to keep the strong sun away from your face, Sun glasses, Walking stick / Trekking pole, Sunscreen Lotion, Lip Balm, Torch / Flashlight (with extra batteries), Medicines (if requiring any specific medication), Personal toiletries, Books, if you like reading, Day pack/small bag which you will carry on your back every day and keep your essentials in it, Camera with charged batteries.

Add on (except May/June)- Warm and thick Fleece, Full-sleeve Woolen sweater, Thermal inner wear (upper & lower), Woolen cap, Woolen gloves, Woolen socks & regular socks (3-4 pairs), Scarf/muffler (optional),

*Please avoid carrying expensive watches, jewelry and electronic items on the trek.

Important Note: Outdoor Adventure Camps management takes utmost care to ensure safety of its members during the trekking expeditions. However in the case of any unforeseen mishaps, Outdoor Adventure Camps management and their associates will not be liable for any injuries caused or for loss of life. All disputes rising due to the above are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ramnagar in the state of Uttarakhand only. However it would be assumed once you make the payments for the trip you agree to all the terms and conditions laid by the organizers and Outdoor Adventure Camps management. However all participants would also be required to sign an Indemnity Form before the start of the program, without which they would not be allowed to take part in the trekking and expeditions.

We aim to bring about a positive change via encouraging benefits of sustainable tourism, intercultural dialogue and culture of peace, in association with local communities, which is a motivational force for sustainable practices. These communities play a pivotal role in preservation of cultural identities and natural heritage, and they become pressure point for an equitable local share in the economic benefits of tourism. We encourage all to come forward and join the expeditions to mark the change and protect environmental heritage.

Photography & Videography Competition:

All the participants may transfer and share their pictures/videos taken through the expedition at the base camp before check out from the camp by making folder in the name of participant in their respective batch folders in official laptop stationed at the Base Camp OR the same may be transferred through Google drive. The nominated jury will select the best 10 pictures and videos to be published on the Outdoor Adventure Camps website and its associate portals to for the general public and votings, which will duly be informed to the participant by email. The selected winners will get the opportunity to join in any of the expedition organised by Outdoor Adventure Camps within next one year as a token of reward as volunteer and tour leader, so he can also improvise on him photographic skills.


After successful completion of the program, the participating members will be awarded a certificate of completion the trekking expedition by Outdoor Adventure Camps. All the certified participants can avail 10% discounts* on our other programs.

Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund policy:

We would love to host you, but in case you are unable to travel as planned and need to cancel your booking, do not worry. Our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast refunds.
